NIKE ZOOM HYPERFUSE

Speed kills, and in today’s high paced transition game the industry is in a race to shave weight off every basketball shoe. With the advent of Flywire and some players even opting for low tops, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse looked to trump its predecessors for the featherweight title. The co-sign by Boston Celtic point guard Rajon Rondo during his breakout postseason had everyone’s eyes on the new model.
Hyperfuse technology makes its on court debut in favor of Nike’s beloved Flywire. Incredibly breathable and flexible, the new Hyperfuse technology rights all the wrongs of its predecessor. Lightweight and strong, it also carries over the strengths. Dropping in the heat of the summer it proves to be superior in breathability, staying cooler, dryer, and lighter than the competition.
While the forefoot cushioning is spectacular, absolutely no attention is paid to the heel. Full length Zoom Air would have taken this shoe from very good to great, but instead the heel is disregarded. My assumption is that it was done so to reinforce playing on your toes, but the lack of balance in the cushioning makes this effort counter productive.Overall the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse is a very good shoe for the speedy guard and any player seeking a lightweight shoe. Nike hit a home run with the implementation of its newest technology introducing one of the most breathable basketball shoes the market has ever seen.

JORDAN MELO M5

For some reason, I just love Carmelo Anthony plays basketball. The first round draft pick from Syracuse University has gotten a deal with the Jordan Brand back in 2003. The way the freshman led his team to the national college championships is  legends in the making. His sneaker line might not yet be legendary as Michael Jordan himself, but with this Melo M5, it may headed into the right direction.
From all the positive feedback that surfaced on the internet about the Jordan Melo M5, I was very anxious to see if it was as versatile and flexible as people say it is. The ankle and heel could not be in a safer place than the Jordan Melo M5. The inner sock gives the player in extreme amount of security and comfort. Another advantage this sneaker possesses is it lightweight capacity. You will feel very light on your feet when playing in this shoe.

The arch support is not as strong as it should be in a basketball shoe. Although it possesses a molded heel counter, the shoe seems to be flat at the bottom. The grip/traction is almost second to none enabling it to perform nicely indoor and outdoor. Carmelo’s fifth signature sneaker can easily be worn by all position players. Like Jordan always said, be legendary.

NIKE ZOOM KOBE 5

Personally I guess Kobe just ruin the basketball shoe game. Don't think of it as a bad way though, he only ruins the look of sneaker line but other than that Nike Zoom Kobe line is widely perceived as the most comfortable, player friendly sneaker of all time. He cuts the trend of basketball shoe must be mid cut to be performed well by designing his sneakers to be low top in focusing on responsiveness by being light weight.
The Nike Zoom Kobe V is by far one of the more comfortable shoes ever assembled. Zoom Air units appear in both the heel and forefoot, providing great court feel and excellent responsiveness.  The low cut improves lateral mobility, most noticeably when on the defensive end and cutting without the ball. Another nice touch on the shoe is the bubble pattern mesh tongue. Not only is it breathable but it also works as a pseudo inner-bootie, providing luxurious comfort and great lockdown.
Durability is a concern. After two weeks of play, the Lunar Foam is already showing wear as is the outsole. It seems as if the Lunar Foam will not bottom out as fast as other shoes with the same technology because it is backed with a Carbon Fiber plate and Zoom Air cushioning. Overall, the Kobe V is perhaps the one of the better basketball shoes ever created. The Kobe's are really as light and comfortable as people say they are. Eric Avar has done it again.

ADIDAS GCS DECADE 2G

The Adidas Decade has been in the long line of Adidas basketball shoes. This was my first 'real' basketball shoe when i played basketball seriously. It performed very well since i used them for about 3 torturing years and it still manages to give great comfort zone while I'm playing on the court.
This shoe is equipped with the latest Adidas technology that is Ground Control System or GCS. GCS was first introduced in running shoes,it works much like a car's suspension does promoting stability and conforms to changes in terrain reducing stress on the body keeping the wearer's foot stable. GCS works by creating a ground leveling effect with the midfoot and heel being supported by a tpu shank working independently from the midsole and outsole.
I initially found the shoe to be a little bit on the stiff side during the initial break in period.Definitely not a shoe you want to pull out of the box and go with right away. After about 2-3 days of working out and light running in the shoe broke them in nicely.Heat and moisture management is good with a vent on the medial side as well as the tpu shank being perforated. There is additional padding for Achilles support and comfort.Unfortunately wearing no show socks might cause skin to be chafed from the seams on the support.Cushioning was a bit on the stiff side. With heel and forefoot Adiprene, cushioning was decent but not spectacular. Overall the shoe performs great with its durability is at greatness. This is a true outdoor shoe with the outsole can withstand the rigors of the concrete.

ADIDAS TS CREATOR

Introduce the Adidas TS Creator. Unsurprisingly, the shoe looks nothing spectacular. Maybe the idea to put the three stripes in front of the upper might be new with Adidas but it  doesn't really put baller's attention. The TS Creator is designed to be a guard/small forward shoe with Tracy Mcgrady and Chaucey Billups endorsing it.
The TS Creator was ready to go right out of the box, with little to no break in time needed. Something rarely seen in basketball shoes, as many seem to need some sort of off court duty to get them ready for the hardwood. Not the TS Creator though.Traction is very good both indoor and outdoor, so whether you’re looking for something for street ball or for hardwood it won’t disappoint. The shoe’s durability should be good as well, as the materials are good quality, and don’t overly show signs of wear after a number of hours of court use outside.
The Adidas TS Creator is a very versatile and solid performing basketball shoe. With above average cushioning all around, and very good ankle support, the Creator could find itself on the feet of any player in the league, without even having to worry if it’s behind the stripe, or battling in the key. If I changed one thing about the TS Creator, I’d have to go with lightening it up just a bit. I think it would add to the already effective Formotion system, and create even better responsiveness.
